先日帯広に行った折に時間があったので美術館に行ってきた。
今までよく行ったいわきと郡山の美術館に較べると建物の規模は小さいけれどいいところだった。
「年寄りは割引とか無いのですか？」と案内の人に訊いたら「常設展は６５歳以上だったら無料です」とのこと。もうすぐだ。企画展もただにしてくれないかなあ。
車で１時間位行ったところにあるポロシリ自然公園、通称「拓成のコース」に歩くスキーをしに行ってきた。もうシーズンは終わっていて、コース整備もずっとやってない。雪はまだいっぱいあるけれど、気温が高いので表面が解けて滑りにくかった。
結局これが今シーズン最後のスキーとなった。
これが今日の我が家の居間からの風景。ガラスが金属コーティングしてある断熱ガラスなので日光を反射しやすいのだろう。前の雪がどんどん溶けていく。
で、ついにスキーは終わりと諦める。
スキーにワックスをかけてから仕舞うのだけれど、これが今年作ったワック掛け用の道具。外の薪小屋にあった間柱用の材木を切って作った。ワックス台は買うと２万円くらいする。道具があまりないので面倒だった。
だれかこれを見て自分もつくろうなんて人がいるかもしれないので、細かく写真を撮った。
ここがビンディングを止めるところ。何種類のビンディングを持っていると入らないか、ゆるすぎるかも。

このように溝に差し込めば前後に動かない。
これで一応困らないでできると思います。
ただ、スクレーパーとかブラシを派手にかけると受けの箱からワックスのカスが飛び散って、床がスケート場状態になります。ちゃんと掛けたい人は床にシートを引くか専用の部屋でやらないといけませんね。
私はこの即製ワックス台を作って初めてホットワックスに挑戦した時にワックスの消費量に驚いて、２回めからは生塗りをしてアイロンをかけてます。ワックスはわずかしか乗ってませんのでソールを焼かないようにかなり気を使います。その後はスクレーパーを使わないでボアブラシを強めにかけてます。それでいいのかどうか全くわかりません。気休めに近いかも。
上級者に見える人にワックスのことを聞くと、殆どの人はレースの時以外は気にしてないようです。ましてや、歩くスキーなんぞ、、、、ってなかんじでした。それでも下手なやつほど良い道具が必要という持論の私としては、特にスケーティングスキーは使った後はいつもせっせとワックス掛けをしてました。
来年は２８ｋｍのレースに出られるように頑張ろうと思ってます。

十六夜さん 井田照一さんは名前も初めて（美術館で見る名前はほとんど初めてです）でしたが、バルビゾン展の後では、ずいぶんと楽しく観られました。
地方の美術館は余程有名ドコロの展示でない限り、空いていてのんびり鑑賞できて贅沢です。
工房はどうしようか迷ってます。地元の業者に見積もってもらったら、予定の１．５倍の額で、一時は諦めましたが、すぐその後にもっと安くなるんではないか？との情報があって、その進展具合を見ているところです。

run into any problems of plagorism or copyright
