これは昨日の我が家の風景。
今朝7時に家を出て、1時間くらい車を走らせて十勝大平原クロスカントリースキー大会に行ってきた。
１０ｋｍの歩くスキーの部にでて、来年の目標にしていた1時間10分でゴールイン。
スタートは一番後ろからたらたら歩いて行った。５ｋｍコースと途中まで一緒で、子供を背負子に背負って滑っている夫婦もいた。レーンが1本しか切ってないので、遅い人がいても、なかなか抜くのは面倒。５ｋｍの人たちと別れて参加者がまばらになって楽に滑れるようになるとだんだん本気モードになった。
アップダウンが少ないので、快調に歩いて（滑るというよりやっぱり歩くという方が当たっている）あっという間に終わってしまった。でも、初めてのコースで楽しかった。ゴールインしてから食べた生チョコレートがうまかった。大勢の知り合いにも会えたし。
反省点としては、後半、スキーが滑らなくなってしまったこと。ワックスをケチったからか？ガリウムのブルーでベースワックス、滑走ワックスと温度帯はバッチリあっていると思ったのだけれど。
さて、来年はどうしようかな？１０ｋｍで1時間以内を目指すか、、、。
もっとスケーティングを練習できれば２８ｋｍに挑戦したいけれど。それが無理そうだったら歩くスキーで２８ｋｍ行ってみようかしら？

マモちゃん、楽しそうですね。私は北海道生まれで、子供の頃はそれの素朴なかたちで遊んでいたよ。北海道に帰ろうかな。かなり前に子供のころ暮らした場所で行ってみたけど、森に戻っていて、小さな橋だけが残っていた。子供の頃は大きな橋だったのに、橋が小さくなるとは知らなかった。
